# nevia pg reset-password

> Set a new password for a database

`nevia pg reset-password [DATABASE]`

* **Effect:** destructive - may delete or irreversibly overwrite

The current password stops working. A sleeping database stays asleep and applies the new password when it wakes.

### Arguments

* `[DATABASE]` - Database ID or name (optional when the workspace has one database)

### Options

* `-h, --help` - Print help
