# nevia workspace create

> Create a workspace

> Nevia is in beta and open to selected teams. Public launch in Dec 2026. The CLI installs with `curl -fsSL https://get.nevia.cloud | sh`, and the MCP server is at https://api.nevia.cloud/mcp. A person signs in once in the browser.

`nevia workspace create [--use] [--idempotency-key <KEY>] [NAME]`

You become its admin.

### Arguments

* `[NAME]` - Name of the new workspace (lowercase letters, digits and hyphens)

### Options

* `--use` - Select the new workspace as your default
* `--idempotency-key <KEY>` - Idempotency key for the request (generated if omitted)
* `-h, --help` - Print help
